The Northside family is growing!
It’s an exciting time for Northside as we witness the birth of a new church: NorthRidge Foursquare Church. A generation of love and prayer has laid the foundation for the church plant in Maple Ridge.
To say that NorthRidge started from a collection of couples who formed a home group in the Albion area would not do justice to the years of investment the people of Northside have made. For so long, there have been family, friends, Sunday School teachers, youth leaders and pastors who have poured themselves into NorthRidge, long before the idea of a Maple Ridge church was even contemplated.
Now, NorthRidge looks to become a giving church like the one which gave so much to them. As we move out to the farmlands, we are reminded that John 4:35b tells us, “Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for the harvest. Even now the reaper draws his wages; even now he harvests the crop for eternal life.”
NorthRidge plans to meet in the beautiful rotunda of Thomas Haney Secondary, beginning on Sunday, September 7th, 2008. This location is only one of many blessings the NorthRidge planners have encountered along the way. One of the greatest blessings though, has been the way Northside has generously released a part of their body to pursue God’s call on their lives.
