Stepping Stones Of Victory |
| |
Tuesday, 6:45 pm at Poco Campus
Originally starting out as a mentoring ministry for single moms this bible study has now grown to include all women hungering to know more about God. For the summer of 07 our group is meeting socially a few times over the summer but will start back up for our weekly fall session beginning September 18th. We are a group of seasoned as well as new Christians with the opportunity for mentoring and sowing into the lives of single mothers and their children. For more information you can contact Elisabeth Holmes at 604-942-7711 or email steppingstonesofvictory@hotmail.com
| CHILDCARE |
As a single parent we know how difficult it is for childcare so we provide this service free to you as you come to learn and grow in your relationship with God. Please email Elisabeth Holmes if you are new to the group and plan on attending with your children. We just want to make sure that we have enough babysitters to accommodate this growing ministry!!! |
| TEACHING |
This fall we plan to go through the book of Nehemiah together in our bible study. Yvonne Armstrong shares the teaching with me (Elisabeth Holmes) and we welcome your discussion, insight and participation in this uplifting unique bible study. With worship, scripture memorization (prizes to be had!) bible study teaching and then closing with words of wisdom from a designated person who is invited to share with the group, there is plenty of time to socialize and connect with each other afterwards.
|
| PRAYER |
After each bible study we have a special time of personal prayer opportunities to agree with you and invite God to move the mountains in your life and the life of your family. Come and see how quickly He responds! |
| SOCIAL |
Besides the weekly fellowship after the bible study, once a month we acknowledge birthdays and pray a special prayer for the “birthday ladies”. Afterwards there is a social with cake and something to drink for everyone upstairs including the kids! |
DAILY DEVOTIONAL |
Each day Elisabeth Holmes writes a new daily devotional that is currently distributed through the internet. Reflecting on scripture, personal experiences, identifying stumbling blocks in our growth and reinforcing a stepping stone of victory in Christ this devotional is for anyone seeking to grow in their relationship with God. To be on the mailing list just send an email to Elisabeth at steppingstonesofvictory@hotmail.com and request to be put on the list today |

Foundation of Strength |
| |
Tuesday, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm at Poco Campus
This is a safe place for men to walk closer with Christ and learn from each other. Ephesians 2:19-20 says, "So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone." Learn how to build upon a firm foundation and become all that God has called you to be.

An aftercare home where women have an opportunity to practice the tools they have learned in recovery. The home is run by Pastor Linda Rubidoux, who offers the opportunity for women to get grounded in God's Word and learn to apply the Word in their lives. In this home they find balance, join the work force, finish school, and give back to the community. It is a safe place for women to grow before they fully enter back into society. Please contact Linda Rubidoux at the Church Office for more info, 604-942-7711.
