Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. Adults of all ages are welcome.

Learning and laughter. It is possible to learn about the Christian faith and have fun!

People meeting together. An opportunity to get to know others and make new friends.

Helping one another. The small groups give you a chance to discuss issues raised during the talks.

Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

Leadership Training Sept.7th 6pm

Summer has gone by so fast. I hope that all of you have had time to spend with loved ones and friends- maybe even some quiet time just by yourself.

I also hope that you have been able to “be still” and connect with God.

Your relationship with Him is by far the most important one you’ll ever have. This fall starting Sept.14th Alpha , Beta, Disc. and  ESOL all start up again.

These are great courses to 1)explore Christianity and a relationship with Jesus 2)learn about yourself and what faith in action looks like and 3)

learn ways to discipline yourself to a routine of reading and prayer.

If you have already taken these courses and still want to be part of the Alpha Family I would love for you to come back in leadership or as part of the task force.

we could not continue to reach out to the community through the Alpha program.

Northside Church Alpha Coordinator

Tuesdays at 6 pm

 Alpha- A 10 week introduction to the Christian Faith. This is Northside’s main evangelism program and a great ‘brush up on the basics of Christianity” course.

The course is presented by Holy Trinity Brompton’s Vicar Nicky Gumbel in video format. We have seen many people make commitments to

Christ and have had their lives changed in this course. Be sure to invite your un–churched friends.

Ladies Alpha-Thursday morning in conjunction with Women’s Thursday morning Bible Study (Hearts 4 Him). This is the same as our evening  Alpha but offered for Women only. 

Starts Thursday, Sept.16, 2010 from 9:30-12 pm.

Come join us for  fellowship, worship, and then listen to a fabulous message delivered  by Nicky Gumbel via video

Each week we enjoy a meal together. There is a series of talks on topic such as

• Who is Jesus?

• Why and how should I read the Bible?

• Why and how should I pray?

• How can I overcome evil?

• What about the church?

After each talk, there is a small-group time for everyone to discuss any questions or issues they have. This gives an opportunity to get to know each other and to learn together.
