Lead Pastor

God called Barry Buzza, along with his wife Susan, to begin Northside Church in 1979. He is passionate about helping people discover their life’s meaning, purpose and direction through his pastoring, teaching, counselling, and writing. On July 1, 2007, Barry was elected as President of Foursquare Canada. He continues to Lead Pastor here at Northside as well as cast vision for the future of our denomination. In his words, the highest calling he fulfills is; husband to Susan, father of two daughters and papa of six grandchildren.

Terry Janzen
Pastor

Terry has traveled extensively as a camp and conference speaker and served as the National Youth Coordinator for the Foursquare Gospel Church of Canada for 10 years. He recently transitioned from Youth Pastor to Executive Pastor to focus on pastoring our large and diverse staff and developing young leaders. Terry also has a passion for empowering parents of teenagers to successfully navigate the often turbulent years of adolescence. He has been married for 24 years to the beautiful Children’s Pastor and together they have 3 children, Torrey, Brody and Cassidy.

Gord Demchuk
Higher Ground Pastor

Gord comes to us with 25 years of ministry experience and has had a relationship with Northside for most of them. He and his wife Jeanne have managed a children’s camp, church planted, and worked as church administrator. They have been married for 26 years and have two daughters, Jennifer and Lesley. For the past 5 years Gord has been serving as an Associate Minister and is currently giving leadership to Higher Ground Ministry, Northside Mission’s Projects, and Church Administration. Gord and Jeanne also enjoy leading Northside’s Scuba Diving group.

Derrick Sanderson
Youth Pastor

Derrick is the new Youth Pastor at Northside Church. He has been working with the Youth Group for the past 8 years as a youth leader.  Derrick's main goal is helping kids to engage God in a personal relationship and offering young people the chance to be mentored in their walk with God.  He has been married for 3 years to the beautiful Amber Sanderson and can't wait to see what God has in store for the youth in Northside Church.

Ingrid Janzen
Children's Pastor

Ingrid’s heart’s desire is that kids enter into a dynamic relationship with Jesus that will last a lifetime. Ingrid has been the Children’s Pastor at Northside Foursquare Church for 13 fun-filled years! She has been happily married for 25 years to Pastor Terry and is the proud mom of three amazing kids, Torrey, Brody & Cassidy.

Doris Wong
Alpha Ministries

Doris’ leadership involvement at Northside Foursquare Church has spanned 20 years. For the past five years she has been administrating and coordinating the Alpha and Beta classes. Doris is happily married to Bob for the past 45 years. They are blessed with two great sons and two grandchildren.

Linda Rubidoux
Grace House

Linda is one of Northside Church's pastors and is often found working with our Higher Ground Ministries here at Northside. Linda’s life was turned around when she accepted Jesus Christ into her life after 40 years of choices that led to an addictive lifestyle. Now she finds herself in a position where she is able to help others find their way to freedom found only in a relationship with Christ Jesus.

Sam & Lily Ong
International Ministries & ESL Classes

Sam and Lily capably demonstrate that churches are places where people from different cultures freely come together to worship Jesus Christ. This reflects the eternal church! Sam and Lily moved to Canada in 1989 from the Philippines. They have been involved in small group ministries for 20 years and have led Northside Foursquare Church’s International Ministries for the past eight years. Sam and Lily have 4 children and 2 grandchildren.

Marg Gilmour
Prayer Co-ordinator

Marg is a single, senior, mom and granny. She has been a part of Northside for over 20 years. Marg has directed the Prayer Ministry since 1993. She is also a member of the Tri-City Ministerial and Tri-City Prayer group.

Mike and Peggy Stoltz

Red Door Pastors

Mike and Peggy Stoltz have worked as evangelists and Pastors for over 25 years through Northside Foursquare Church in Port Coquitlam, BC and Living Water Foursquare Church in Princeton, BC.  Their hearts desire is to grow the church real time through winning souls while at the same time making strong disciples for Christ by helping people discover their life’s purpose and God’s call on their lives.  He feels his job as a pastor is to do himself out of a job by teaching others how to follow God’s direction for their lives so that they can become functioning members of the body of Christ in order to share in the work of the ministry.  Mike works fulltime at a local mill in Maple Ridge and is our Staff Associate Pastor of the RED DOOR. He has been married to his wife Peggy for 20 years and they share 3 beautiful adult children together - Allan, Whittney and Ben.
